2 Stars HD Digital Channels Unavailable
The television has a beautiful picture. However, in the Rockville, MD area the tuner does not recognize Comcast digital HD channels 4.1 (NBC) and 9.1 (CBS)and SD channels 4.2, 4.3 and 9.2. These are not in the list of available channels when the show/hide list is displayed. Sony sent a technician to replace the tuner, but the problem was not corrected. Sony has not provided a solution. We get these channels on another Sony television on the same cable connection.

5 Stars Good price exceeded by excellent delivery service

My new Sony HDTV arrived exactly as scheduled and in perfect condition. The happy surprise was the quality of the ‘white glove’ delivery service. I expected that I would be responsible for uncrating, cabling, installing and checking the TV. Instead, the two delivery guys did all of the above, undoubtedly faster and more capably than I. It was a nice surprise, and I’ve had no problems since. Five stars for Amazon!

PS. I have no family members employed by Amazon, and have no financial interest in the company. I was just impressed with the entire transaction from price through installation.

This TV is just AMAZING, like you’ve read in most reviews but hook a PS3 and you wont want to get out of yor house ever again. From the crisp clear images from a Blu ray movie to the deep blacks in games like Dead space or the detail in Little big planet… this TV will ensure you enjoy every one of the 1080 lines of resolution. It was the best Xmas gift.

Excellent T.V. I think it is the best I have seen. The price was also excellent. I really did not notice any difference between this set and higher priced ones of the same size, though there was considerable noticeable difference between lower priced sets and “off brands”.
